My Bella - my 7yr old spayed kitty was scooting and I heard this could be an anal gland problem.. Took her in the next day (yesterday) and the vet expressed them, injected them w/ something (assume they were infected?) and then sent her home. She is a little cranky but otherwise ok..
But honestly I wasnt home 2 hrs before she used the litter box and then scooted herself down the hall AGAIN.
Whats up with this? should I be worried? I thought the vet visit took care of this.. ?? If its just a reaction to having them expressed, how many days before I should start worrying again?..

oh poor little thing! Did you call the vet? If you haven't I would suggest calling them right away and telling them that she's still doing it!

Have someone who is quite a bit bigger that you stick their finger up your behind and see if it is not irritated afterward. Yes it is normal for it to take a couple of to feel a better, good luck.

haha.. NO THANKS!
I was sure she was uncomfortable but not sure if I should continued to be worried about additional problems. Either way, no scooting yesterday or today, and she is back to her cute self so all is well..
