I haven't seen the movie and I don't plan to cause I heard from hubby that it was really bad.
Maybe I'll rent it when he isn't home? lol

My 15 year old niece thought it was the funniest dumb movie she's ever seen. She convinced me to watch it and I almost fell asleep the first time. Then, I watched it again and found it hilarious. Last week, my niece showed up with a t-shirt with the phrase "My Lips Hurt Real Bad" so I told her to go to the nurse and get some chapstick.

For those who want to experience Napolean Dynamite first-hand, here is the website. You gotta watch the videos and/or listen to the sound clips.

Well, I think it's a movie that would generally appeal to teenagers, but then I think Jackass is hilarious (and Trailer Park Boys - here in Canada)... I guess that says enough.

OH, oh... I'd have to say my absolute favorite part of the movie is when the guy goes out to "take care of the low steak problem," and he shoots the cow, and you hear the gun shot and the kids on the bus screaming! OH! That was HILARIOUS!

It's actually a movie the whole family can watch -- the humor is really... uh... stupid but "clean".

The best part for me was when his brother is dressed up like a homeboy... "Peace out"

LOL

My husband and I have already determined... it's funny to watch, but it's funnier to imitate and talk about with people who've seen it.

For sure - I definitely think it's good fun for the whole family.

Okay, a few more good quotes:

"Do the chickens have large talons?"
"Tina, come get some ham!"
"C'mon, gimme some of your tots."
"Don't be jealous that I've been chatting with babes online ALL day." (Kip)

I love Deb. Uncle Rico gives me the "willies". LaFawnduh is hysterical (I love her brother(?) at their wedding).

My son really likes the whole Rex-Kwon-Do bit.
My husband likes the line, "I like your sleeves. They're really big."
Two of my favorite characters are Pedro's cousins who have the sweet hook-ups. "Pedro offers you his protection."

I could go on and on and on. . .
Look at the pants im wearing, do you think anyone would want a swift round kick to the head while im wearing these bad boys? Forget about it.

"You've embarrased yourself, me and the entire Gem State."

"I caught you a delicious bass."

I just realized that no one has mentioned the opening credits yet!

It was HORRIDABLE!

Napoleon seemed to ALWAYS have his eyes closed, his friend, Pedro seemed like he was 30, not in highschool, and I thought his brother was his dad, to be honest. The plot was bad, and no one had any expression. Bad acting. Ugh, I have to say I hated it.

Dodgeball had more of a plot. LOL!! Yeah... it's stupid, but, I'd reccommend it!

Yeah, I thought it was pretty funny, but I ALSO think the impressions people do of the movie are even funnier. I have it too. My boyfriend bought if for me for Christmas (he knows I like weird movies).

I don't know how I could have forgotten that one!!! One time I had a few drinks
and my boyfriend and I and another friend of ours erased my mom's voice on my parents' answering machine and did the skit where deb was trying to sell stuff and then kip says the "your mom goes to college line". It was hilarious! I loved that line, because it was SO random and Deb runs away afterwards! haha!!!
