Hello from the Windy City!

Hi everyone!
I came here looking for some advice and it's been a pleasure. Cat people are so nice....

Currently, I have one baby--her name is Baby. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy and asks me how I chose that name. Well, she was such a sweet baby, I had no choice. She's a petite grey tiger with beautiful green eyes. An old girl at 14, but she's in pretty good shape and she can still tear wildly across the apartment like a young 'un when she wants to.

We're strongly considering a new friend for Baby--thanks to those of you who replied to my post. I'll keep you updated.....

Welcome to the site Sam! Baby is the purrfect name for a loved kitty, IMO. Mine are named Trent and Ophelia, but more often than not they are called Baby Boy and Baby Doll.

Welcome Sam! Baby sounds like she is a joy! I had a cat named "Little Mom" simply because she looked like her mother. Sometimes the names just fit.

I lived in and around the Chicago area for 30 years. Mostly south side (Beverly area) but don't hold that against me if you are a north sider.
