Hi everyone
I thought it was about time that I introduced myself... I joined TCS about 10 days ago when my cat Charley died - I've been spending way too much time in the Crossing the Bridge forum and figured there is so much good stuff on this site that I'd start by coming here to say hi.
I don't have any cats of my own right now, although it's funny, I seem to have been adopted by 2 kitties from the day and hour that Charley crossed the bridge. Do you think cats have a sixth sense about that or something? One is my neighbours cat, who used to stop by occasionally, but who now seems to be sneaking into my bed every chance he gets! My boyfriend and I call him Furby because we can't pronounce his real name in French... The other one is a cat I keep running into on my walk home from work. I've nicknamed him Manxy because he appears to have lost half his tail at some point. I have no idea who he belongs to, but he loves his cuddles and that has been GREAT therapy for me these past few days.
Anyway, I live in Switzerland although I'm from Ireland originally. I love animals, especially cats, dogs and horses. I'm new to chatting and not that much of a techie but I'm pretty pleased with myself because today I figured out how to put a picture in my signature - hopefully you can all actually see it
