I got a report of a domestic violence incident. I called the victim, who said that the police got it all wrong and that she was not a victim of anything (which is actually a very typical reaction). I did not press this person further, but simply told her what my services were and left her my phone number should something happen in the future that she wished to share.
Sure enough, she called my work cell last night and now has an appointment to see me on Thursday. So I guess I'm proud that I've possibly helped her get out of a dangerous relationship!

Wow Amy!

Um, I didn't blow half the day by sleeping in til noon! That's something I'm proud of. I went to the mall, bought some sunglasses and eyecream (yes, preventative measures already) and then went to class in the evening.

I am proud of the fact that was the ONLY MOTHER at the rollerskating rink who was out on the rink with all the kids from my daughter's school!!!

I am ALWAYS the only mother. Always! And I boogie, baby! I have me a blast on my 1980's rollerskates!!!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
I let someone get on the train before me. She didn't push in but i was there before her

I only did that because i saw she had a carrier bag filled with tins of cat food and kibbles, so i thought "She's a cat person, i'll let her on first!"

I'm not sure "proud" the word I'd use, but I'm pleased that I managed to carve out three hours to get Rob to and from the doctor (about his back) without either rushing that or letting any of the other zillion things that really had to happen slide.

I managed to take Bjourne with on my jog, and get home, and get dinner ready, and sit down to a nice dinner with my husband...and we had a serious "relationship" talk that ended on a good night. I am pretty proud of that!! We have the relationship talk every so often just to make sure we are on the same page. And sometimes, they end in fights. Not last night!! I am so proud of us for it!
