I got a delivery a bit ago, a Korean Dogwood tree and I was mistaken as to who it was from- so I pulled my original post.

The tree is in honor of Tazzy and it is from a group here called The Hope Express whose members are trying very hard to stay as anonymous as anyone can in such a tightly-knit community of cat-lovers.

Thank you Hope Expressers for giving to Mike and I such a wonderful tribute for such a shattering loss- May you ALL live long and prosper and keep on doing good in the shadows of this community-

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I still want to see a picture by the way!
I don't think I know what a Dogwood tree looks like.

Well we are getting hit with quite a storm right now so a picture is kind of not possible at the moment- but this is from the net and is what these trees look like in full bloom

Oh that is so thoughtful and lovely. I think they bloom with gorgeous pink flowers in the Spring, that photo must be from the Fall. What a very fitting tribute for Tazzie girl. I hope it grows strong and full for many years.

Oh wow! What a lovely tribute for such a special little soul!
From the pictures it looks gorgeous! I know my parents always said one of the things they missed from North Carolina was the beautiful Dogwoods.

At the kitty's beck and call
MA - how wonderful - you'll always have something that reminds you of Tazzy - it will be wonderful to see it standing strong, tall and healthy.

We planted rose bushes where a feral that we were looking after was buried and a pet rabbit - it always brings us comfort and we think of the little souls resting there.
