My sister and her family are coming in from TX. but my other sister on the east coast can't make it. We're going to go to my parents home to boil crawfish and dye Easter eggs Saturday. Then we have to head home that night because we have a young son and I insist that he wakes up at his home on holidays. You know, the Easter Bunny has to come and have the whole Easter Egg hunt Sunday morning!

What are you guys doing?

Going to my parent's house and going to church with my Mom in the morning. She's planning an Easter Dinner but it will just be her, my Dad and I.

I know, it's seems like it is early this year. I remember it usually being in April.

I'm going home, hopefully bringing my boyfriend with me. I left Limerick my kitten, home with my parents. We had srping break last week, and have a 4 day week this week. I saw no need to drive Limerick back and forth that many times. It's a 3 hour drive and he was very vocal on the way home. He also was crying very loudly when we went for little five minute drives. He use to like coming in the car with me. Maybe it was the cold weather????
Hopefully he'll won't be as stressed on sunday on the way home.

That sounds like a great thing to do on Easter!

Will Sasha & Saba be jealous of the new addition?

BTW, how's your thumb?

We are having friends over for a cookout - ham & salmon plus side dishes. We will be listening to "Jesus Christ Superstar" full blast. Then we are having an Easter egg hunt. No kids will be there, but us 40-somethings like to play!

Oooooh well lets see!. I'm off on friday so i'm going to spring clean from top to bottom, then i'm out with friends on the evening.

Saturday i'll be doing some retail therapy.

Sunday is always a lazy day!

Monday i'm still on holiday so i think i'll have another lazy day!

Oh and the film "Jesus of Nazareth" is on t.v. which is nearly always on at easter and i always watch it even though i cry at the end when Jesus gets crucified

I'm hanging out on a farm! Big family (not mine, a friend's) and we're going to eat, drink, play cards, run around with the horses & dogs and all the cute little barn kittens.

I volunteer to work as we are "skeleton staff" (only 5 people). Then Friday nite-grocery shop and start house clean as Mom and Dad are coming Sat morning. Don't know what we will actually "do". Go to church Sunday and I'm cooking again.
Spiral cut ham, a potato casserole, roast asparagus, Grand marnier glazed carrots, rolls and a raspberry cake. Maybe will will take a ride up to one of my SIL that is hosting easter dinner on my hubby's side to visit-depends on how long my parents want to stay.

I cannot believe you can do that! She's a long hair and drags all kind of gunk around with her all day. We brush her every night!
