That the human body really never needs eight hours sleep or in my case, four.

That's pretty much what I was going to say!! I'm always amazed at how much love I have for them. It's such an awesome feeling!

... there really WAS a cat person pent up inside me for 31 years despite growing up with dogs all my life!! You know how they say that people resemble the dogs they own? Well, I think I've got a cat personality? I'm finicky and sometimes wanna hiss when people irritate me!!

Also,, that it is not acceptible to read or do homework just whenever time I feel like it, when there are more important matters at hand,,such as rubbing a furry belly!!

Just thinking about it, makes me tear up. And I think my cats find my expressions of that love quite embarrassing.
I guess sort of like the 7 year old boy, who's a baby one instant and "all grown up" the next, with no time for Mum's mush.

There's no place like home
There is nothing better at being a cat than a cat.

That they are all totally unique in their own way.

That they are all special creatures and none of them should ever be taken for granted or treated like "property".

That if I could learn to live with and handle the Demon Cat without getting hurt, then I can learn to handle the real world without getting hurt either.

That individuals (whether feline OR human) come in all shapes, sizes and colors and to be tolerant of those who are different from me - some individuals are nice, some are not so nice but just like me, all have needs. It may be more difficult to know what those needs are at a glance, but with patience, tolerance, acceptance and respect, most individuals will reveal their true nature and I am normally bettered for the experience.

Cats taught me the exact same thing that they did to Heidi. They taught me that I could love more than I ever imagined I could.
