I don't watch NASCAR, but my boyfriend and I had just turned on the TV and the race was about to start, but first I heard that John Micheal Montgomery was going to sing the National Anthem, so I stuck around.
Did anyone hear it?
I love country music, and I think he's a good singer, but I have NO idea what was wrong with him when he was singing that. We looked at each other and disgust and asked,
"Is he drunk?!?!?!?!"
Bless his heart if he was really trying to do well, but the man sounded drunk or something. I thought it sounded horrible!!! Maybe I'm just a tough critic because I love to sing and I adore music...
