Sorry, but I've been having major problems due to purple cat milk bottles. Jamie is addicted to Whiska's cat milk, and won't drink any other brand. (I've tried, believe me.) Several months ago, Whiskas "improved" its cat milk, and changed the color of the bottles from purple to white. Many cats, including Jamie, didn't like the new formula, and Whiskas was besieged with complaints. Its response was to offer both the old and the new varieties, which was fine. However, Whiskas (at least here) is now selling the old cat milk in the new bottles. Apparently, Jamie believes my maiden name was Medici. Jamie won't eat or drink anything he hasn't witnessed me putting in his bowls. Meaning he's suspicious of the white bottles, although they now contain the milk that used to be available in the purple bottles. I have one old purple bottle, and am resorting to washing it and pouring the milk from the white bottle into it while he's sleeping. I know from German cat sites that others are doing the same. Aaaaaaagggghhhhh!
I know it's not just me, or my eccentric cat, because there's a slew of other complaints on international cat sites. I would expect producers and suppliers of products for cats to take cats' preferences for "the usual" into consideration, and to be very caeful about changing ingredients and packaging. Unfortunately, I have to conclude that most of them just don't care.
