My new home!!!

Hey guys! As some of you remember, I posted a thread about the pain and joy of house hunting. Well, all of our hard work paid off and we're now proud new home owners.

This is our new home in Bristol, Tennessee!!! The picture really doesn't do the home justice, it's so beautiful. Our yard is 1 acre and we're in a really upscale subdivision. We have 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and over 2,000 sq ft for the kitties to explore. My agent says everything could be closed in 3 weeks and we could start moving in!!! Of course everything must be repainted and we're doing all of the floors in hardwood and stone/ceramic tile. I'm just so excited!!!! I'm gonna take before/after pictures and let everyone see our progress once we start our renovations. Thanks for everyone's words of wisdom and encouragement!!! Your words really helped me work through my frustrations! You guys are the best!!!!

Wow Kelly, the place is gorgeous! Looks like a beautiful Southern manor Can't wait to see the "before" and "after" shots. Thanks Steph! It IS a small world! Did you ever visit him there? Bristol's a pretty nice town. I'd trade places with you and live at the beach anytime, though!

Yes I did, Kelly! We used to have Thanksgiving at his home every year, and while I was living in the mountains of NC, he wasn't very far away at all, so I enjoyed visiting more often. It really is a lovely town! You're welcome here with Sierra and me anytime!

Thanks Susan!! Well, the house party starts when you, Rosie and Sophie pull into the driveway!!! . We actually won't have one until we've done our renovations so it could be quite a while . I am having a "moving party" though. We're gonna invite a bunch of our friends to help us move and grill steaks,shrimp,and corn for them as sort of a reward. We'll have to lure them with beer and liquor as well. It's just a little tradition my little circle of friends have. It really makes you look forward to moving day instead of dreading it!!

Kelly that sound brilliant what your doing!

Theres nothing as stressfull as moving house so having friends help like that will make it a lot smoother and stress free
