One of those weekends

One of my cats got tagged in the eye on Friday during a spat, it punctured the cornea and he ended up with blood visible within the eye. It will be a bit before we know if there will be long term issues, for now, he is doing well on a plethora of meds, and the blood is almost completely cleared up.

Today, I found out my one remaining grandmother has pneumonia again (she also has other health issues including CHF) and is having trouble breathing...the second report from my mom was that she is now being kept comfortable on morphine as needed (and other meds), but this may well be the time she does not bounce back.

I am feeling very Please keep her in your thoughts, that if this is her time, she have a peaceful passing.

Oh no! I'm sorry Pat, what a lot to go through in one weekend! I'm sorry about what's going on and I hope that the cat is okay and that your grandmother does indeed bounce back, or if it is her time, like you said, that she has a peaceful passing. I will definitely keep you, your grandmother and the rest of your family in my thoughts.
