Ok, a question(s) with a marathon answer:

How has education changed during the span of your career? Do you think these changes are for the better? How are you a better teacher today than you were before? What made you choose education as your career?

Children have changed a lot. They know a lot more, meaning that they are "street smart." They are MUCH more disrespectful than ever. They want handouts.
The education system has changed tremendously. more pressure is put on both students and teachers to do well on standardized tests. Children with an IQ of 70 and below are expected to make the same amount of progress as students with an IQ of 100 or more.
Teachers are held responsible if the students do not make this progress, even though students do not make an effort and if parents are unsupportive.

The government has RUINED things!
Children about 2nd grade are given a 15 minute break: NO RECESS!

I have mellowed some and do not take things as personally as I used to. I have learned that "you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar," but I have also learned that I cannot solve all the problems of the world.

I "fell" into education because mama was a teacher. I love it, even with all of the problems. A lot of these children just need some love, for they get none at home.

hey! No, to most all of your questions. I HAVE tried Mesican food, and soft tacos and quesadillas are my favorites.

They are making these kids grow up WAY too fast! Even teachers (grown up kids) need recess!

3. How much CokeÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] do you drink in a week?

4. What do you think of those "alternative" uses for CokeÂ[emoji]174[/emoji]?

b) fork
c) serving spoon
d) serving fork
e) chopsticks
f) knife
g) fingers
h) someone else's fingers

o) garden shears

7. What's the largest amount of ice cream you ever ate at one sitting?
(NOTE for other people: a quart is approximately 1 litre)

a) less than a quart
b) between 1 and 2 quarts
c) 2 quarts
d) I'm too embarrassed to admit how much

8. When was the last time you went out on a date?

3 years ago, I rappelled off of a 100 foot cliff. I almost did not do it!

I am going to go tandem skydiing this summer. That will be the scariest time!!

Man, i drink 2-3 bottles of coke a week, and I am talking 2 liter bottles.

What alternative uses???

I HATE vanilla coke!

I use a spoon or a fork for ice cream, and the most I have ever eaten at one sitting is a pint.

Does a date count if it is with my besy guy friend? if it does, then the last time was in December.

My kitties talk to me all the time.

Oh, I am loving this. I am NEVER the center of attention.

You handle your fear of heights well.

Man, i drink 2-3 bottles of coke a week, and I am talking 2 liter bottles.

That's not as bad as I thought.

What alternative uses???

Hmmmmm... that almost deserves the worm, but we'll let it slide. I meant stuff like this: http://billstclair.com/blog/stories/cokeuses.html Would you use CokeÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] for any of those things?

Does a date count if it is with my besy guy friend? if it does, then the last time was in December.

Okay we'll let that go too.

1. What was your worst date ever like? What happened?

A blind date with a guy I met thru a Christian magazine! OH, it was AWFUL! He gave me a TEST! For real, a written test. This guy was, I forget what you call it, a free mason???? YUK!

2. Have you ever tried blind dating? Honey, I have tried it all. If God wants me to have a man, He's gonna have to THROW him at me. NO MORE!

3. When do Shenandoah and Humble talk to you the most? morning and when i get home from school.

4. How do Shenandoah and Humble wake you up in the morning?

Shendandoah does the "wake up meowmy" by meowing and pulling the covers off of me.
It is always the same! He also knocks the alarm clock off the table.

He also gives me literal head butts.
They have taken the phone off of the hook. The y like the pretty red light that blinks when there's a message.

They LOVE ENYA! I put on a CD of hers, esp if it is the song "Only Time," and they come into the room and lie on their backs with all 4 paws in the air and go to sleep. (Shenandoah) Humble is more of a just curl up and sleep kinda guy.

Have they ever done anything different to wake you up? What other things have they done?

5. Is there a certain meow that either kitty does that will make you melt more than other meows do? Do you think they know which meow that is?

Most of their meows are "FOOD, PLEASE" meows, or "I need a hug" meows.

6. d

Interesting answers Bobbie and your two boys sound like little darlings pulling off covers and taking the phone off the hook.

-sounds like that one date was bad enough to be on reality TV.
Did you manage to end the date early, or did you humour this psychotic individual?

Do you (or did you) ever watch any dating shows? (Elimidate, Blind Date, etc. etc.)

Oh yeah... and you answered correctly on the multiple choice question... You've managed to keep the worm at bay once more... but how long will it last?... how long will it last...

No, I have never seen one up close and in person. I think they are beautiful little animals, and O hate that they have been killed for their fur.

This guy made out like he was SUCH a wonderful Christian, but I noticed when he started eating his soup, he did not pray. The date ended early.
Thank goodness!
His name was ROI, and I went by Matchmakers, International afterwards and told them they misspelled his name.
They said thatthey had not. I said, "yes, you did, it is spelled N U T."

I have watched "Joe Millionaire," and I used to watch "The Dating Game/"

Hi Bobbi-

Do you cook, and if so what is your best homemade meal?

Do you wish you had more cats than just two?

Is there a past student in your life you wanted to adopt legally even though you knew it was impossible?

How do students that have had you as a teacher talk about you after they leave?

Do you keep in touch with any of your past students?
