I've taught First grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 3rd grade (15 years of that), 2nd grade, 7th grade, and 12th grade. I have also taught college freshmen.

Which grade(s) have been the best to teach and which have been the hardest?

Bobbie, I'm curious. Why do you consider 3rd grade the best? Isn't that when kids are learning their multiplication tables?

Also, as a parent asking for free advice

, what is the best way to teach kids the multiplication tables? Repetition? Flash cards? Making them write them over and over? Or all of the above.

You can get these cool tapes, stormy, where they sing the tables. That's really good.
I like 3rd grade the best cause the kids are for the most aprt still sweet.
They learn multiplication tables then and also start cursive writing. It is realy a transition from "baby stuff" to real studying. That makes it hard.

Want me to find some tapes for you? I will!!

I never had kitties! I ahd dogs!

The craziest thing I have ever done was pinch a live model's butt. It was when thongs just started coming out, and I didn't realize the leotard was a thong. I pinched it and felt warm skin!
I was SO humiliated.

Meal: broiled lobster tails.
20 layer caramel cake with icing.
