We had company today!

Aunt Susan (Daddy's baby sister) came to visit, today. I (Rowdy) was looking forward to plundering her purse, as usual but, she fooled me and left it in her car.

I had to content myself with showing off ALL of my tricks:

rolling on the floor, waving my paws in the air
wrestling with Daddy
untieing Aunt Susan's shoelaces
crawling headfirst into Daddy's boots
wrestling with Opie
jumping WAAA-YYY high and clinging to the TOP of the back door

Aunt Susan was suitably impressed, told me what smart, funny, pretty kitty I am and rubbed my belly and ears. Too bad, she didn't bring the purse in, though. I REALLY like plundering her purse. Sometimes, she brings Aunt Joan with her and I get to plunder TWO purses. Maybe next time! (Mommy hardly ever carries a purse, so I can't plunder hers.)

Hello Rowdy!

This is Skinny!
Your Aunt Susan sounds like a nice lady!

And you ARE very smart. Wow, you do fun and nice tricks!

I like it when meowmy has guests. I don't usually go after purses, but I like staring at their faces. I sit facing them and I watch their lips move when they talk. Whenever I do that, they start laughing all of a sudden. I don't understand why. Meowmy then carries me, kisses my head and makes me face away.

I heard the word "cross-eyed" once...

Hey you guys real social cats! Cool. Oh wow you do amazing tricks.

Me and Mika runs to the door when we has company and check them all out. I stands up on them to get a closer look.

Mika just sniff them a lot.

Mika steals meowmy's keys out of her purse cuz they have little stuffed animal and Mika likes it.

We likes having company too.

Well, I don't like strangers in my house, but I do like to sleep on meowmy and grandmeowmy's purses!

Aunt Susan isn't a stranger - she's family and she has a kitty, named Cosmo. I haven't met him but, I can smell him on Aunt Susan.

Speaking of strangers, Mom came home smelling like two strange DOGS, today. She says that they are Dalmatians (like our Ike) and their names are Lily and Sears. They live with our big brother Mark, his wife, Sam and those two little people - Mom calls them "grandkids". I don't see what's so "grand" about them. They aren't litter trained and the last time that they were here, one of them told Opie to "shoo". Just whose house do they think this is?

Anybody who isn't meowmy or grandmeowmy is a stranger to me! When meowmy's sister comes in I hide.

Watch out for those "grandkids". Some of them like to chase kitties, grab them, and SQUEEZE the stuffing out of them!

Jasper is right!

Those small people are meanies! Never met one who's nice to us. We ran and hide whenever they come here (even Skinny!). Their screeching hurt our ears.

They are't TOO bad. We can go places that they can't. At Christmas, Buddy and I took their toys away and played with them, ourselves. They also drop a lot of food and that's a good way to snag a forbidden treat.

Wow, Rowdy, what a smart and clever boy you are! I love to plunder Meowmys purse too, she has got some good stuff in there, and I like chewing on the zippers! We don't have visitors very often, but when they do come they always seem to be mens, and THEY don't have purses to get into.......oh well.........yur friend lil jasper
