I did tell him that when I came home from work..that he looked like he had a big toothache!

Actually, the heating pad under the ace bandage does make sense, in a way, even if it does look funny.
I might have to try that method one day when my sinuses start acting up, lol

Now that I've stopped laughing enough to type, I gotta say that is one hilarious picture. I laughed so hard the tears were running down my cheeks and almost down my legs (had to run to the bathroom). When you get old it's not safe to laugh that hard!

I'm probably going to have dreams (nightmares ) about this tonight. It is really just too funny. You gotta love a man with a good sense of humour. I got one and it sure makes the tough times easier.

Wow.. ok at first glance.. I thought wth.. never in my life have I seen someone with a cold look like they got the crap beat out of them by a dentist.. but after finding out about the heating pad.. it just does not help me deal with that picture any! Be a man Jerry! Your not supposed to let the women (especially ALL of them!) know how men can REALLY be!! Inventive, creative, self soothing and able to look after ourselves! What is wrong with you man? Has the cold gone to your brain or did the heating pad get to hot? Your going to ruin it for all of us!! Knock it off and whine a bit, get the bandage off your head and ask for some chicken noodle soup!!

lol! It doe smake sense.. Buy the man some vicks vaporub and have him schmear it all on his face.. it'll help better than a heat pad. Poor guy...

Susie over here we have " Beechams all in One " tablets that i swear by because their for colds/flu/sinus problems etc...So if you have them over there get Jerry some and he won't need to look like he's auditioning for the next "Mummy" film

It does make the tough times easier, doesn't it? When they have a good sense of humor? He's always doing things like that.

Believe it or not,other than a good cough he's got now, he says he feels much better today.....hummmmmm, I've never thought about wrapping the heating pad around your head, but maybe I should give it a try next time.....no pictures though, please!!

I asked Jerry if I could show his firefighter/paramedic friends, and he said, I already sent it to them! HAHAHA

At least some of his emergency first aid training has come in useful. Some time in the future...

That photo is priceless! Of course, his explanation does make a lot of sense. Maybe he'll start a new trend - picture a number of TCS members sitting at their computers with heating pads and ace bandages wrapped around their heads!

Tell him to put Vicks on his sinus area's. Theat will open up the nasal passages, and take away any headache the stopped up sinus's have caused. When I get a sinus infection, I put vicks all over my forhead, and on my cheeks, where the sinus passages run. I even put it behind my ears. It's messy, but it works.
