Brendan has a personal training session tonight, so I will more than likely go with him. I did zilcho yesterday.

As for workout clothes...I tend to wear whatever old clothes I have hanging around. As much as I hate spandex, it is very comfy for working out. I own a pair of spandex ankle length pants, and a pair of regular spandex pants. I also have two super old pair of umbro shorts that i wear freqently to the gym. Up top a sports bra is a must, and I usually wear an old college t-shirt. Nothing fancy for me.

The only thing I do ten to splurge on are shoes. I used to be an addidas girl all the way. But, right now I have a nice pair of nikes. I am actually due to buy a new pair of running shoes soon.

btw Beth, I looooooove those smileys.
Can we get Anne to add them??

Oh man Beryl, Umbros take me back! I still have some, too, but it's hard to wear shorts at Curves unless they are really long b/c of some of the positions you get in on the machines- I don't want those other ladies seeing my business, lol. You know what I mean Renee!
Anyone else here wear New Balance sneakers? I love mine.
Also, for the worker-outer on a budget- Wal Mart has some awesome workout/yoga capris-length pants. They are cheap (about $8-9) and SUPER comfy!

good call about Wal-mart. I spend much more of my time at Target, but perhaps I will have to make a Wal-mart run one of these days.

I used to have a pair of new balance sneakers -- but they HURT my feet!!
Style wise I love them though.

I did my walk yesterday, I came within a hair of not going but I pushed myself (I was still tired from the babysitting)
So glad I did, I continually get the lesson that it's worth it even if you have to push.

When I go to the gym I wear pretty much whatever I can find that is clean. Usually that's a pair of shorts and a tank top. For teaching I have few special tanks that I wear and a few pairs of full lenth yoga pants (have to wear pants, don't want to flash my underwear to everyone when I'm going over glute and thigh exercises
- had to learn that one the hard way). My sneakers are Avia, and they're pretty nice. Mom has promised me that the next time I come home though that we'll go to this place where they measure each part of your foot and find the PERFECT shoe for your exact foot. That should be VERY exciting!!!

Wal-Mart eh? I can't bring myself to go there, no matter what the deals are. The one in Ormond I could do, but the one here in Orlando is WAY more of a hassle than it is worth. I get so frustrated in the parking lot that I'm at my wits end by the time I go in, then when I finally get in there it's a struggle to find anyone whose primary language is English!!!!! All I hear in there is Spanish and the customer service is TERRIBLE. I can't STAND it in there. The Super Target here however, is wonderful. I absolutely LOVE that place!!!

I just got back from laying out by the pool, so now I plan on reading a chapter for Child Pathology and then heading to the gym to get my cardio in.

Keep up the great work everyone!!!!!!!!

No workout of me Friday. Saturday 6 yes SIX hrs of yardwork plus 1 hr to help hubby restack his wood working lumber. I was worse than sore and tired.
Sun am-moved a sand pile (with a wheelbarrow) for a couple hrs and really cleaned the inside of my explorer. Then we had unexpected company and they stayed for supper too (6 of them!!)
Tonite is WI Conservation Congress meeting with the cat hunting debate-but I'm still really tired. So back on the running bandwagon tomorrow.
I wear very good sport bras -I have a website. Gym shorts and either my Asic running shoes or Ryka cross trainers.

I never shop at Walmart either. They are ruining this country's economy (enought said)

Enjoy the workouts everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodness Gail, you had quite a weekend! 6 unexpected dinner guests? That would send my head a-spinnin'!
Did you attend the cat-hunting meeting or watch it on tv? I'm interested to hear how things went.
Katherine, child pathology sounds too interesting! Wish I had been a psych major

I worked out yesterday and will go again today. I WILL work out 4 times this week. I got some cute pink capris workout pants that I'm wearing today... definitely inspires me to get to the gym!!!
Anyone going to work out today?

Oh your new pink workout pants sound lovely!! I love love love pink.
Good luck on your 4 workouts this week Amy.

Today is just my regular old Hardbodies class day. It's a major relief to just have the one today after the 3 I had to teach on Friday. I can't even TELL you how sore my chest, glutes, and arms were!!!

Don't let the midweek coming up on us slow anyone down!!! Hop to it everyone!

I'll be off to the gym in a little bit. I'm all dressed to go just waiting for my ride. I tell you... my husband better get himself a second hand truck soon or I will go out of my mind relying on friends for rides...

Amy, Yup, I know what you mean. I've seen more than I've wanted to several times.
I actually wear bike shorts though. They're tight enough where its impossible to "flash."

Well, I went away for the weekend and took Monday off from work, so I got to workout in the morning. It was a riot! Here comes this lady ... "Alright everybody, clear the way! I gotta get to the scale. I been eating fried chicken all weekend!!!
I laughed my butt off! SHE SOMEHOW ACTUALLY LOST WEIGHT! Too bad I don't eat meat. I might try that fried chicken diet!

I'm planning to work out tonight, skip Wednesday, and then work out Th & Fri.
