SO I am a little sleep deprived every day. This is throwing me off a bit, however I am sure I will adjust soon enough. (I should just pull the shades but i do like the sun shining in the am!)
I've heard that exercise is a GREAT way to become energized if you're tired...

well so much for my eating health yesterday. After being in the ER until 7 PM (3 lovely hours of screaming kids and angry parents) I really wasn't about to cook and hubby got Burger King. I NEVER eat that stuff. Yuck. The only good thing was the fries and sprite.

Today is a new day.

This has been a very frustrating week.
I was trying to make up my workout yesterday, but I ended up having to work late.

THEN, I get home and opened mail. My credit card bill said I was past due. I made an online payment of $50.00 on 3/17. For some reason it was lost in cyberspace, so now they are charging me an additional $25.00! Did I print out the confirmation? No! Why? Because I'm an idiot, I guess.
I usually do, but was in a hurry ...

THEN, I try to check it on their website, but it wouldn't let me past the log in page. "This page cannot be displayed." kept coming up. THEN it wouldn't let me on any other websites either...it just sat there doing nothing. SO... I log off NetZero. After disconnecting THREE TIMES I was still connected! After so....many times they have kicked me offline, last night I had to shut down in order to disconnect!

My home computer is this close (see the 1/2 inch) of being dissected part by part and run over with a Bobcat!

Anyway...I am not saying OUT LOUD that I'm working out tonight, BUT my workout clothes are on under my work clothes.

Oh Renee
this has NOT been your week! But aren't you getting a bit excited about hitting Curves tonight? Thinking about how great it will feel once that half hour is over?

Gail, it was great to hear from you and it is awesome how much you've done this week. WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! You are an inspiration to others!

LOL, I feel the same. Bradley and I say that, if we bought shock in Chick-Fil-A, we'd get rich just off our own C-F-A consumption!!!

Shhhhhhh... don't tell anyone I'm going...something else will happen.

Thanks for the hugs! Yes, I am looking forward to it. I really do enjoy it. I was so looking forward to last night because I thought the staff would be different on thurs than M-W-F and I wanted to see a staff member I hadn't seen in awhile. Well, today is a new day.

Amy, how is your back?

Oh the back is much better, thanks for asking
I'm still not doing the squat machine b/c I believe that is the culprit

Working out at Curves on Thurs. is different here in Savannah. Yes, we do have different staffers (only 1 works on Thurs., whereas there's normally 2-3 working M-W-F) and there are significantly fewer people!

i did not work out yesterday. I was sore from Wed. and i was running around busy busy busy. I HATE working out of Fridays, but I have a feeling I will force myself to go. Either that or I'll workout double time tomorrow. This week was VERY exhausting. I really just feel like taking a nap.

oh, and I LOVE the chick-fila southwest chicken salad. YUM!!! I need to get me one of those someday soon.

I didn't work out either. A friend called me last minute to do a movie and I feel I so rarealy do anything spontaneous anymore so I went. Oh well I am thinking of walking tonight.
Tomorrow I am doing a long bike ride too! Just set it up with a friend, at least an hour.

My husband I think finally realized that what I'm doing to lose weight and what he is doing (quasi-Atkins) is not!! Its about time. I lost 9.5 lbs in March and he lost 2#.
So he wants to do more walking/jogging on the weekends. So I think it either starts tonite or tomorrow am for sure. We are going out to dinner tonite-some sort of Thai/Korean food!! My back is getting better-if I stretch out after the treadmill it really helps!!

Gail, I learned a really good back stretch at the gym tonight. I can try to find a link to show you the stretch (it's too difficult to explain to type it) if you're interested.
That is great that hubby is interested in working out more. Will you two be walking/jogging together?
Marge, the bike ride sounds wonderful! To me, that is one of the most fun forms of exercise!
Beryl: you know you want a southwest chicken salad, you know you want a southwest chicken salad, you know you want a southwest chicken salad you know you want a southwest chicken salad, you know you want a southwest chicken salad....

Hello, My name is Amber, and I suck at working out.

Weeeellll... Today my favorite jeans did not fit. No, I take that back. They haven't fit for two weeks, but I've been lying to myself and saying it was water weight gain or some such. Today, I decided to face reality and smacked myself for doing so when I stepped on a scale and was up 10 pounds more. I want to lose about 20, preferably 30 pounds. 5 would be a nice start.

That being said. I decided to join the workout support thread. (Yay me!) I am hoping to find some exercises that don't take much space, equipment, or time. The wonder miracle, it sounds like, but currently I have not much time, space or equipment. So... suggestions for home exercises and such are very welcome. My target areas are of course, my flabby backs of my arms, my icky lower belly.

So with the help of the TCS gang, I'm hoping to be able to find exercises that work for me, and support to continue doing them. I'm one of those people who expect immediate results and when it doesn't work, I give up. So.... I will be seeing you all around on this thread!

Cheers to good health!
