so my crew is dealing with this Calici virus, and little Hiwa has the snotty nose/sneezing thing going on. Chloe is starting to eat again on her own even for me, and was even seen nursing the two white ones. Hiwa has always been a super nurser but today seems uninterested. When I went to tube feed him, his mouth literally seemed to be shut by nose discharge (or something that was crusty when I cleaned it off) I'm obviously worried that he's not nursing because of this. when I cleaned his nose and mouth off, he sneezed a few times. they are all still on clavamox, so I tubed him and now he's sitting with me. Is it okay to take him in the bathroomin a steamy shower and try to break up some of the congestion?

Yes, it would probably ease the congestion a bit ... just don't let him get damp and cold. I'm up - we can phone chat if you want, but my eyes are about shot at this computer ... send me a PM with your number if you like and I am happy to call you.

I've been sitting here working from home trying to catch up and didn't realized how late it had gotten until Hiwa peed on me. thanks dude, these are my brand new $3.33 sweats from Walgreens LOL. I'm headed off to steam him and wrap him up, feed him again and then hit the hay. He is so tiny, I can't really do much with this gunk except just keep cleaning it.
