I worked in the "recovery" area at a cat spay and neuter clinic last week, and, as such, I was handling many cats during the day (mostly turning them over as the anesthetic wore off), so I expect that their "scents" got on my clothes. Anyways, when I got home, Munchie the cat jumped into my lap, sniffed at me, and promptly hissed, and tried to scratch me. Could she smell the other kitties on me ?

Even when I take a shower after getting home from the shelter, Merlin still spends hours trying to smell my arms and hands. I always make sure to strip my clothes as soon as I walk in the door (I'm paranoid about bringing home fleas or something more serious) and I wash them immediately in hot water, because he sometimes gets freaked over all the cat hair and scents left on my clothes. It's never seemed to bother my other three, just my jealous Mer.
