I was singing along last night to the singers on Americal Idol, and Trixie came up to me and softly bit my arm. I just looked at her and asked her what that was all about. Well, she was all purry and loving, so I forgot about it and gave her some lovins.....

Well, I started singing again, and she bit me again!

I must really stink!!! LOLOLOL

Have any of your kits done this to you or is she just a harsh critic?

Well Amy, Anthony was singing for the first bite, and Neeko was singing for the second one! Yeah, maybe it was them she didn't like!

LOL. Trixie isn't very subtle.

Meish puts her ears back and gets squity when there is country music on. Maybe it hurts her ears? lol

Awwwwww poor Trixie, but then i always thought that when they give little nips like that it's a sign of affection?!.

When i sing, their ears go back with a look like their in a wind tunnel

The only time my kits ears go back is when they are playing/fighting with eachother. It's funny to watch them. Their ears go back, their eyes become slits, and they tails start flicking back and forth........and then POUNCE!!!

My RB cat , Ziggy, would jump on the piano bench when I played and sang. She would get on her hind legs and put her front paws on my shoulder to balance herself and then take the paw closest to my mouth a gentle pat her paw against my cheek and across my mouth. I think she thought I was in pain or just nicely telling me to make it stop

That's exactly what I was thinking. I've read that about cats and Jess used to do that sometimes. It's funny either way though.

My cat Princess HATES it when I sing. She will give me a dirty look, growl and leave the room. If I don't stop singing fast enough she will come back and slap me or if she can get close to my face she will put her paw on my lips to try to stop me. It's pretty funny.

I had to stop watching American Idol a couple weeks ago because my other cat Patsy didn't like the singing. She was actually afraid of some of the singers. I think it was just the pitch. She was abused before I got her so she gets scared easy.

OMG! This is like the funniest thing I've read all day. Trixie BIT you when you were singing!!
Is she the Diva or is that Petals?
I can't honestly say I've had that particular experience, but Saba will run over when my cell phone rings and bite it.

Mario Vasquez quit suddenly a couple of days ago (nobody's really sure why). Nikko had the next highest number of votes, so he got to compete.

My two HATE it when I whistle! It's funny, too, they will come running from the back room to get me to stop. Tucker will sit & meow at me. Mini will get up on me & rub her head on my chin or lips, or if I am standing she will stand up & give me a little "shut up Mom" nip on the leg.
