Yeah that's probably a good call. She'd probably start drooling all over the photo.

My mom and dad went for a company Christmas party last Christmas. They said it was okay, but, they really liked Midevil Nights the best.

I am glad you had a blast though
I'll admit to having wondered if there were a connection, if not to Cirque du Soleil specifically, to circus in general.
Interesting how people come up with their screen names, isn't it?

Medievel Times? I find that interesting that they liked that better than Cirque. I'm guessing Times was more up their alley. I've also been to Medievel Times quite a few times and I have to say that while it's a good show, it definitely doesn't get me nearly as much as Cirque. It's always interesting to learn about other's tastes though! Glad they had a good time regardless!

Yeah... Midevil Times.
They really liked that. They went to Arabian Nights on Saturday for my Mom's B-day, and they liked it, but she said she liked Midevil Times more. Glad you had a good time, though!

I'm glad you had a great time. I've been to Orlando so many times, and I have never gone to Cirque du Soleil. I've been outside of it, but I'm usually on my way to The House of Blue or Pleasure Island. Maybe I'll check it out next time I go to Orlando.

I saw it in Toronto last summer with my grandmother. We saw Alegria. It was great. I LOVE Cirque du Soleil....I always used to wish I could have been born to the contortionist family or something lol.

Once in good old Paris and once in Munich. I enjoyed it more in France. The again most things are generally better in France. =).

Cirque do Soleil! The permanent shows have been the best I've seen so far. O was by far my favorite, but I loved La Nouba too. I saw Dralion and Varekai while they were touring. The touring tents don't have as good viewing as the permanent sites do. Next I want to see Mystere, KA, and Zumanity!

You've seen so many! How nice for you!! I was just telling my boyfriend last night that I want to travel to all of the permanent shows. They're all in fairly interesting cities, so what a great bunch of vacations that could be!

Pretty soon they are going to rename Las Vegas after Cirque. I think there's 5 full-time shows there now (O, Ka, mystere, zumanity, and the MGM's got one coming...), plus I"m sure more will come as other shows lose their leases.

I've seen them on DVD, and seen similar acts, and they are fun, but I'll be d*mn*d if I'm going to pay $110 for an obstructed view seat of a swimming French clown.

(correction, they are CANADIAN clowns, not French)

Yikes ours were certainly not $110! I'm too poor for that!
I believe ours were $50/person for great seats (though everywhere in that place was a perfect view). No swimming in La Nouba, though that sounds interesting!

yeah, the $110 lousy tickets are for Bellagio's "O", which is water-based, and freakin expensive...

Prices may be different now, last time I checked was a couple years ago...

I would figure that ticket prices would be higher in Vegas than in Orlando anyhow. Not that I've ever been there, but it would just seem that way.

Well then just for you Rigel I'll post them in the pictures thread once I get my film developed. It will probably be sometime later this week.
