planning group events

Great I got myself in a pile of doo doo.

I am planning a picnic for my birthday, just a casual thing
with friends. And like an idiot I start asking around about dates people can make it. And of course it's a scheduling mess, some people are out of town one day, others are another.

I know in the end I just have to pick a date and just go with it. But it's always hard....

& when is the great date? ( i mean when it`s your birthday?)

My actual birthday is April 28th. But I was thinking I would do the picnic the following weekend of May 7/8. The 8th is Mothers day so that's out, so the 7th looks most likely.

Nice idea good luck chick!

We always have a problem with my husband's family in scheduling things cause the family is so large. Majority always seems to rule. Hope the outing goes well.
