Took Minx and Indie in to be neutered, and now i'm at a complete loss! The house is really empty I miss them

Minx was good as gold, she just sat there had her heart checked, her temp took...Indie after trying to escape the cat carrier, nearly took off like a rocket having his temp done, poor lil guy!
I also told a lie (the shame of it) I asked if they could be kept together as much as possible pre op (as after they will be woozy) And the vet asked if they'd scream the house down if parted, I said yes
they do search for one another, but not cry the house down...but hey it worked he said he'll keep them together, so now i'm twiddling my thumbs and worrying like hell

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Ashleigh get the marigolds on and clean the house!, thats what i did when both of mine went to be done because it took my mind off things a little bit.

I washed their bowls out, put fresh litter in and fluffed their blankets up ready for when they came home, and the house shone like a new pin even though it didn't really need doing.

Or you can stay on here because at the time i didn't have my computer at home so i was stuck.

The time will fly by!.

I'm also a chatroom operator, so I thought i'd do a bit of work on that, while also being on here, I guess it was their little faces as I walked away, that was gut wrenching, and I think the dog is as lost as I am!

W/ the best cats
When I had Wawa neutered, they gently pushed me out of the clinic because my stress and worry was contagious to the other moms and dads.

This is not my first time but I don't think I'll ever get used to it.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
It's so tough, Ashleigh, when our babies are at the Vet.
What time do you get to call and check on Indie and Minx. Do they get to come home today? The last time Sierra was in for a procedure where we were close enough for me to go home while I waited, I caught up all the laundry and mopped and vaccuumed the floors. What a long day for you, I sure hope it goes by quickly. Your babies are going to sail right through their procedures.

He said to phone them at 3pm to see if they are ready to come home, but yes god willing they will be home today...The vet is new guy, and really lovely, so I take comfort that he'll keep them together, I guess Minx was ok in herself, she was quite laid back with the whole thing, Indie was the one crying and trying to get away

It's so tough that they need to go through this. Sending concerned meowmy hugs your way. They will be home before you know it.

I took Persil in this morning and I have been restlessly nervous ever since! But I just called the vet and all is OK, and my nice vet is even going to deliver her home to me as he lives nearby. How is that for service! I won't be really happy till she is back with us all though.

Hiya all,

Just quickly popped on to say my babies are home
I didn't have to ring the vets in the end, they rang me, worried me to death I thought something bad had happened, but the nurse explained I looked such a sorry sight when I left them she thought she'd ring me...what a sweetheart!

Minx on seeing me was chatting away and went into a frenzy of rubbing herself against me, Indie seemed to be sulking, but he's come round now

Both have eaten and drank water, and at this moment are peering in the bird cage...nothing changes then lol.
The vet did say that Minx on trying to get her back into the cat carrier was like a devil possessed and said it looked like a scene from a cartoon, he also says limited exercise...someone please tell Minx ,she's pretty hyper!
Anyway I'm not staying as i've gotta keep an eye on these, just thought i'd update you all, thanks for the support, Ash is very happy and relieved ,have a good night all xxx

I know it's hard to leave them at the vet's. They always seem so betrayed.
The time will pass quicker than you think and they'll be home before you know it.
Just keep busy and it'll all be cool.
