Problems with ClindaCure antibiotic?

Have any of you had problems with ClindaCure antibiotic? The ingredient list says "Each mL contains Clindamycin hydrochloride equivalent to clindamycin 25mg and ethyl alcohol, 8.64%"

The vet gave me this antibiotic for Nubi after he had a dental cleaning. I've given it to Nubi 7 times now, and twice he has started hacking afterwards. He acts like he is going to vomit for about a minute, but then seems fine. I haven't called the vet yet after this second time. The first time they said to keep an eye out for vomiting or diarrhea, but otherwise I could keep giving him the medicine.

Anyone have any experience with this antibiotic? Thanks.

I have only had to use it once, I think that they may do it because it tastes AWFUL!!! Yes, I tasted it. If there's no actual vomit or runny stool, it should be fine.
