Computer Troubles

Hello guys,

Sorry I've been offline for five or six days - I've been having computer troubles ever since we tried to hook up Broadband. We are going to get a "Computer Nerd" (Don't shoot me - that's what the company is called) to come over and see what is wrong with our computer one day this week. At the moment I'm accessing the Internet on my Nanas computer, the only thing is it is REALLY slow so I don't think I will be able to do much catching up today. Spare a thought for my computer everyone. The problem is, I can dial up to the internet but it wont let me view webpages.

Sam I just was thinking of you today. I saw the new commercial for NZ on Animal Planet today several times. I know you probably don't see it, but when your have your broadband fixed, let me know and I'll email the link to you. It's a really, really great commercial. You must be really impatient that things are not working out

Aww poor Sam - you have my sympathies - my broadband was an absolute nightmare at the start of the year. Sending lots of good vibes to your Computer Nerd so that they can fix the dratted thing!

Chris - I wonder if it's the same one we get - I think the song is "if you've been waiting you've been waiting too long" and it starts off with people on a boat and then you see shots of a beautiful waterfall - I think it ends with horses on a beach. It all looks so beautiful.

Yes it is. I just saw it for the first time today - The scenery is breathtaking and the song is good , too! Very good marketing.

I hope you get your computer fixed soon!! I know how annoying that is

We were having problems with our Broadband connection for the 2 last weeks and I think it was just fixed last night. We ended up having to get a new modem and router. After we got it from the internet provider and called to activate it I spent over an hour on the phone with tech support only to be told that their system to register new equipment just went down and will be for at least 72 hours.

My Dad called the company to try to get them to adjust the bill since it was there fault and it had already been down about a week and the lady he talked to said the system was never down. Got one of the computers working and found out we were given another defective part that had to be exchanged. Had to wait until the buisness was open on MOnday (this was friday evening) to get another. Well a week later it is now fixed. (I hope)
