I was wondering what breeds of cats people on here are breeding so I just thought I would ask.

I breed persians!

I originally started breeding Ragdolls. But, my mom got me into breeding Norwegians. And I also have a Birman who is due at the end of this month. Her and her mate were given to me by a breeder who couldn't keep them. I found the male a good home with my mother in-law. And as soon as the babies go the birman will be spayed and go to a new home.

I have 2, 17 month old persians that I hope to start my breeding program with. I think she may be pregnant already but did not witness the breeding. She is a copper-eyed white and he is a black smoke & white. We also hope to start showing in May.

WOW!
I had no idea some of you were breeders, LOL!!!
I think it is great, the diversity of breeds! People will get expert knowledge of all the breeds, even the rare ones.

To say the least, I'd give my right arm for one of Gaye's Siamese! I am no longer an active breeder, but I bred Himalayans for just over 10 years.

If your right arm was still functional when you handed it over, I would gladly accept it to help me with the cattery chores. LOL

It's very much used to them, gaye! Considering I still have 8 kits, even though I don't breed anymore!
