Gizmo just started this weird behavior up on Monday. I was in the bedroom standing up, and he decided he was going to use my leg as a scratching post! :tounge2: He didn't really use his claws, but that's what his idea was. Then this morning, he did the same thing to my husband!

My cat Maya Linn just started doing that too. Only I'll be bending over to tie my sneakers and she jumps up on my back and starts using me as her human scratching post. I have NO idea where she picked this one up but I have to keep her nails clipped short or I become shredded wheat!

One of the reasons cats scratch is to mark their territory. So, it is likely that your kitties are "marking" you....saying "She's mine!"

Gizmo has just started doing this again to me
I am almost guessing he wants me to pick him up, because he stretches as far as he can get! Tonight, when he did it, I picked him up and he was so happy, purring away. So, maybe he is scratching me to say "She's mine," and also to say, "hey, pick me up!"
As long as he doesn't rake my legs, I am fine....

I have a question for you.
Have you been in contact with any other cats of late, that are not part of the family.
I have to agree with lotsocats sounds to me that you are being marked.
It could be something as simple as stepping in another cats scent that sets them off.
Any way I hope things work out.
