Hello from Detroit!

Another new person here. I have a 5-year old tabby named Taffeta. I took her in off the street when she was 6 months old.

I'll be moving to California this summer, so I'll be on these forums looking for traveling advice at least!!!

Hi, Zede! Welcome to TCS! My husband is a native of Burton (actually it was still part of Flint when he was born) and we go to see his folks every year. I moved my sis, complete with 3 cats,1 dog and 1 very energetic 4 year-old cross-country to Tennessee last June. I've gone cross-country twice, so if there's anything at all that I can help you with, just send me a private message. I'm eighth generation Californian, so I know this state too. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures with Taffeta (what a cute name!), so please post soon. Susan
