Besides my husband, you girls and guys are the first to know.....

A few weeks ago when I had a day off and finished my family room painting project I couldn't get over how different it paint job made the room look.
As it happens I had the TV on and sat down to watch Oprah. It was the show that had the women on that didn't look there age. She talked about sitting around in "schlumpy" (her words) clothes. Well I looked at these women some who were around my age and listened to what they had to say.
That gave me the final incentive to start exersizing again, eating better, etc.....

Along with these changes I decided to additionally do sometime else!

Are you curious yet?????

Well tonite after work not only am I getting a hairstyle change (from all one length) I GOING TO HAVE MY HAIR COLORED!!!!!

Never have done this in my 47 yrs. I'm very lucky that I don't have any to speak of-gray hair. But it is brown and boring.

So I made the appointment a couple of weeks ago and Randy my hairdresser is SO EXCITED!! He's a good guy - 2 of his cats I gave to him!!
So he basically has free rein on the color and style-I'm thinking he is going to the reds for that seems "in" right now. He's the expert.
Hair can always grow back!!

So in about 8 hrs I'll have a new look.
Wish me luck!!

Oooh how exciting! And yes, hair can grow back or you can dye it back if you don't like it. But I love deep reds... I'm sure it'll look fantastic!

Good luck! Will we get to see pictures?

oh hunny Gail - how fabulous! You deserve every inch of pampering. You are so beautiful inside, how can anything else keep up that you'll do on the outside? That's what I'd like to know! But we still want pix.

I am so excited for you.
There is nothing like a little pampering to make one feel good. I love getting my hair, nails and toes done every once in a while. I bet you will look fabulous!!

Its a disposable camera that Kodak makes that they give you the prints and a CD with the pictures on them.

Good for you! I just did that a few weeks ago and I love it. I work at a salon, and one of the stylists cut mine from mid-back length to collar length, and colored the dark brown and gray to a dark red with coppery streaks. I hope yours makes you feel as good as mine did me.

Mine is now similar to krazy kat. I went from all one length to layers. Randy razor cut some layers in and colored my hair a chestnut color-which you really don't notice very much and then hairlights in the layers. The big thing now is to style it properly-which I didn't do today. I have to get pictures taken.
