Love these stories
Hopefully I'll be able to add cute Cosette wakeup stories soon. For now, she just wakes us up with little mews behind the door (she's still sleeping in the bathroom until her URI is all gone).
I'm in the same boat. Bradley knows I would put no PERSON above him, but he isn't so sure about the kits!Originally Posted by katspixiedust
This is slightly related but I just wanted to share. I just found out last night that me not letting my boyfriend kick Waffle off the bed when he spends the night has been hurting his feelings all this time! He apparently felt like I was putting her comfort over his as she takes up half of the bed. I laughed at first because I thought he was being silly but then realized he was serious. Poor boy! I think he thinks I'm a bit over the top about Waffle sometimes!!
Hmmm that's an interesting idea. She does have a nice, soft, flat cat bed that she liked to lay on most of the day. I'll definitely try putting it next to me the next time Brendan stays over. What's funny is that I think she's figured out that he will try to kick her off the bed! She USED to sleep next to him every time he was over, but lately she's been coming over next to me. Perhaps she knows I'll accomodate her and that her lover boy will not? Either way, I think she would still prefer to be ON him for sure!Originally Posted by ugaimes

My solution for the kitty on the bed thing was to put Eponine's little sleeping bed on my side of the bed, at my feet. That way all 3 of us are sleeping happy. Does Waffle have any type of bedding that she likes to sleep on? Maybe put that on the bed near you so as not to disturb Brendan (though I am sure BRENDAN is her favorite thing to sleep on)

I agree- Doonesbury was a SPECIAL cat to me. I had him for 18 years (grew up with him) and was HEARTBROKEN when he passed away. I still miss him. He has been gone for over 13 years now and I still think of him almost every day. Often Buddy and Spike reminds me of Doonesbury because he was black also with a small patch of white on his chest..Originally Posted by katspixiedust
I have no doubt that Doonesbury knew! Animals are so perceptive!! He sounds like he must have been quite the special kitty!
OH! Thanks for the compliment on the name! We named him after a cartoon character- don't ask me why!Originally Posted by ugaimes
