thanks again everyone. I don't mean to keep posting a play by play, but its all making me so nervous and i know you all will listen.

I will find out today.

I got a call from a THIRD adoption rep who also wanted to talk to me. Except I was out to dinner when she called so I got her message on voicemail while she was out. She said she was going to be at Petsmart for 2 hours however taking care of the kitties, so I went to Petsmart again to meet her in person.

She says that there is me and one other woman that wants Lilly equally as bad. The difference: she has no cats, I have Ebony. So I guess it'll come down to what they think will be the best environment for Lilly. The woman said it was hard, and may just come down to a coin toss. sheesh!

Anyways, I never thought I'd go through so much to take home a cat! I'll report the verdict later today.

I do not usually post from work, but I checked my voicemail first thing this morning and just found out that I got Lilly!!!!

I have to call this afternoon to set up the adoption time to bring her home. I was so happy to get this good news because I am not having such a hot time at work this morning. So yay!!! I am sooooo excited.

Yes! I just checked here about 2 minutes ago and no news, came back and here was the great news! I'm so excited for you. You REALLY will have 2 of the most gorgeous cats. I'm already totally smitten with Ebony and now I've fallen for Lilly.

I'm just so happy for you. I bet you can hardly wait to get out of work today! Congratulations to you and Ebony and Lilly. Post lots of pictures.

i have to call today to set up the adoption. our apartment is pretty much ready to go. i have a few odds and ends to pick up (new dishes, toys, a blanket, etc...) but i would hope that by Friday I should be able to get her.

She needs out of that Petsmart cage ASAP!

I am glad I have an office at work - I just let out a squeal and started dancing in my chair! Congrats!!!!!!

Friday is the day! I go to get Lilly at Petsmart around 3:00.
