I'm thinking BBQ beef ribs, mashed spuds and gravy and some green beans. Maybe some kind of a grilled roll to go with them.

Subway. Our once-a-week outing to my daughter's favorite spot. Then, UDF for ice cream. It's cold out & it's gonna snow tonight, so we will be rebels and go eat ICE CREAM.

Well, yesterday I got some curry stuff in the mail from a certain friend in Singapore - thankfully the Dept of Homeland Security decided it was not a weapon of mass destruction and let me have it after they opened it!

But I think I will be making chicken curry! yum yum yum yum yum yum!

What time is dinner? I love chicken curry.

This may sound strange, but something that is delicious with curried chicken - melt some butter in a pot, add some chopped onion (just a bit), add raw shredded cabbage and toss around until the cabbage wilts a bit, add shredded coconut (about a handful or so) and stir in with the cabbage. This is sooooooo good with curried chicken. I also love to put a couple whole cardomon pods in the rice while it cooks and remove them before serving. Gives the rice a lovely flavour.

i think this was our once a week chinese food night but bf won't be home until around 9 so we're going to skip it.. this would be the first night of the once a week dinner date so we're no starting out on a good foot.. But I'll probably just end up making spaghetti or something and making him some convenience food like hot dogs and tater tots when he gets home.

It's only a weapon of mass destruction on some people's digestive systems

I think tonight is some random Lean Cuisine food. Might as well munch on cardboard! *gag*

LOL amy - it is a WMD on Jake's system!
But as for mine, I have been eating curry since I was little and so I have probably built up a resistance to it

Well, I really had planned on baking some boneless chicken breast with some green beans and sausage, and some mashed potatos-n-gravy BUUUUUT.......... I feel too "Blah" to cook tonight.

My heart is really set on that but I took some chili out of the freezer for my husband and I guess I'll have a PB&J sandwich.

Maybe tomorrow I can have my chicken feast.

Lo-cal once again. I'll heat up some baked beans, add some meat to them but only about 1/2 to 1 cup to eat. Some type of veggie and milk. Then another 30 minutes or so running on the treadmill (sigh). The joys of losing weight!!

Chorizo!
We take hot link sausage and fry it up in an iron skillet, add in spanish rice and then it goes into a flower tortilla shell with 4 grated cheeses and refried beans. Squeeze lime juice over it and dinner!
