Let your hair down

to let my hair down & party: go out with friends to some loud cheesy bar, drink, dance, be loud & obnoxious, do my best to embarass myself, then wind up at some late-night place for some seriously greasy breakfast.

to let my hair down & relax:
Be ALL ALONE and sit on my deck with a blanket wrapped around me with cocoa or coffee or a martini ( ) and just stare at the trees.

Yeah, I'm good at loud and obnoxious and I excel in making a complete jack*** of myself.

But I'm not knocking the quiet evenings at home or in a hot bath, either. I like that option, too, when it's just me and hubby.

Friday nights out with the girlies in a local pub where the musics loud, we lip read and by the end of the night everyones up dancing

Then saturday night is recovery and rehydrate night!

Personally, I always enjoy building a bonfire, drinking a few beers and listening to some really groovy tunes on the truck stereo with friends.

Movies at home are also a fun way to unwind.

GO SHOPPING!!!!!!! But if I am broke, then I love to watch stupid TV movies like the Megladon shark or the giant crocadile or the BEAST!!!!! Kind of stupid but enjoyable!

I love stupid movies. In fact, the best ones are the ones that didn't mean to be stupid or funny, they just had the bad luck to turn out that way.

Lets see - let my hair down...
Smokin' Sundays! Speakers go in the yard - Classic rock is blaring - the Florida sun is beating down - and we smoke fish and drink beer all day.

We take a trip. Weekends are perfect for a skiing trip in the winter and a quick trip to the beach in the summer. In between seasons, we go to Gatlinburg TN and hit all of the outlet malls and spend the weekend in a mountain chalet with plenty of wine!

back yard picnic/bbq with friends. everyone brings something and we just sit around all night. we don't get loud, unless you count the laughter.

other nights its a fire drum night. we got out to the middle of the field behind a friends house, light a fire in a fire ring, drink and dance to just drums. its an incredibly sensual feeling. and sensuous. no one under 21 allowed.

To unwind after work, I break out the catnip and watch Angel go nuts. Then I watch videos with my best friend.

Nip Trips are so funny. Ours have the best time with that herb!

I like to strech out on my bed and either catch up on anime or play Tomb Raider. (All my friends used to call me Lara Croft because even before the games came out, I had hair past my waist, I wanted to be an archeologist, and uh.... I could put the little tart to shame in the chest area. Since then I've moved to geology, and shaved my head, literally. It's growing back, but way too slowly.)

I just never have time to do those things anymore. Plus, the cats just adore it when I lay down with them in the afternoon. Merlin expecially is in heaven!

If I'm thinking the same thing you are then that's one of mine too

I also like to hang out on our patio at home with my husband and have a few beers during the spring and summer. Especially when we barbeque.
