It's harder with a laptop. 3 of them got placed differently than where I placed them.
But I did pretty good on placing my very first state in the right place!

Yay I feel better - I just got an 82% with my average error being 44 miles. Maybe I CAN be a teacher!

I'm not offended. I thought I would do worse. At least I didn't do as bad as Ari. "Whew!"
It would be funny to see the results for a Canadian drag and drop map though.

Well, if that's the case I'll blame it on their other teachers that are actually supposed to teach this stuff. In kindergarten, knowing where all the states are isn't as important as coloring in the states, lol!

No worries, I was just teasing... but I just got a 92%, with an avg error of 34 miles, so I feel a bit smarter. Man this thing is addicting.

Not bad for a kiwi - 92% with an average error of 7 miles and in 211 seconds lol

That happened to me too about 8 times. I only got 76% but then again I've been out of school a lot of years. In grade 5 we had to memorize all the US states and their capitals - I'd be hard-pressed to remember them now.

Yeah I liked it so much I have it bookmarked. There was another similar drag and drop type map someone else posted here in the lounge, but I think the thread got lost in the crash. I wish I had bookmarked that one. The way it was done was a little different, so I wish I could see that one again. Note to anyone here: If you remember the link for that other site please post it.

Good game! This was fun!

I must admit that I called my hubby to help with a state or two! He is much better in geography than I am.
I...I mean we, scored 84% with 45 mile average error.

No sense it doing it over...it will just become a game of memory skills, not that I really know where the states are.

Puerto Rico... land of rice and beans.
Score 96% with an average error of 5 miles in 253 seconds.... not bad, not bad.

Where I really got confused was when they asked me to place Kansas and there wasn't a state already surrounding it, and I was like "uhhh.... somewhere in the heartland!"
