I'm not offended. I thought I would do worse. At least I didn't do as bad as Ari. "Whew!"Originally Posted by sashacat421
well Ryan, no offense, you're Canadian. I don't think you'd expect us Americans to place all the provinces, no? Now THAT I'd like to see!

Well, if that's the case I'll blame it on their other teachers that are actually supposed to teach this stuff. In kindergarten, knowing where all the states are isn't as important as coloring in the states, lol!Originally Posted by sashacat421
HA LOL! Ari! As long as we don't see your students saying that Minnesota is in the middle of California on a Jay Leno segment.
Sorry Ari. Kidding or not I just don't know when to shut up sometimes.Originally Posted by pinkdaisy226
No worries, I was just teasing... but I just got a 92%, with an avg error of 34 miles, so I feel a bit smarter. Man this thing is addicting.Originally Posted by Hydroaxe

That happened to me too about 8 times. I only got 76% but then again I've been out of school a lot of years. In grade 5 we had to memorize all the US states and their capitals - I'd be hard-pressed to remember them now.Originally Posted by sashacat421
You know.....what makes it really unfair is that even if you are a nano-second off in placement, but you certainly know where the state is, it counts it as off! I just sent it to my brother who collects maps with me and also minored in Cartology and he got a 98 with 17 miles error.
Yeah I liked it so much I have it bookmarked. There was another similar drag and drop type map someone else posted here in the lounge, but I think the thread got lost in the crash. I wish I had bookmarked that one. The way it was done was a little different, so I wish I could see that one again. Note to anyone here: If you remember the link for that other site please post it.Originally Posted by pinkdaisy226
