That was pretty fun! I got 84%, 42 perfect out of 50, average error of 47 miles. I am SO bad with the Northeast! The rest of the country I know, but having never been up there (and the last Geography class being close to 20 years ago!), I just don't have my bearings up there.

ok, I SUCK at this...I'm close-ish...like I know general regions, but I'm barely adequate at canadian geography.
I got 74% w/ average error of 95 miles...but sometimes I tried to place them in the right spot, but wasn't close enough (I don't have a mouse).

I got a 42 out of 50

The midwest is my major downfall. I've never been there and SO MANY OF THEM have nearly the same shape. Sheesh that was frustrating. Plus it won't give it to you even if you're 3/4 onto the right spot!

Okay I officially can't be a teacher. I got a 68%, then a 72%. But I'll be back and I'll do it again!

You know.....what makes it really unfair is that even if you are a nano-second off in placement, but you certainly know where the state is, it counts it as off! I just sent it to my brother who collects maps with me and also minored in Cartology and he got a 98 with 17 miles error.

I felt so too Eddie. I was a little out on a couple - actually covering most of the area but was stated as being wrong. Whereas with some others, I was clearly miles out

I got 98%, 1 mile, and 211 seconds.

I think it all depends on which states you get first - if you get Oklahoma first, you're going to get it wrong, but if you get Texas and then Oklahoma, it's a lot easier! I got lucky, so I only got one state off, and it wasn't by much.

What a fun site! I got 46 correct with an average error of 46 miles. I suck at the midwest, too, as I'm an east coast gal.

I got 40/50=80%, 77 miles avg. error in 336 seconds. That's pretty neat though, I'm determined to get 100% now!! I didn't realize I knew that much about US geography!!
