Hi All! A while back I posted about my feral Momma that I took in to my basement. I am happy to say that all is going well! The kittens are now 6 weeks old (as of this past Monday) and are currently eating/drinking on their own and using the litterbox!!!
For the past couple of weeks, my husband and I have been seperating the kittens from mom...started at just a few minutes, then worked our way to longer and longer time away from Momma. Momma really isn't a people person, and the older the kittens got, the more agitated she became with us. She is now permenently separated from the kittens, and I'm currently waiting on her spay appt.
About the kittens...I have 3 males and one female. The boys are named Jack, Edgar and Crybaby (he's the runt and is very vocal!) and the girl is named Isis. I have pictures posted at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/powerp.../ph//my_photos
They have taken to the separtation very well and are romping and playing with each other! I have them in their own room for now, but eventually they'll have the run of the house! I just want them to get a little older before I let them run free around the house.
I plan on keeping all of them, and they'll be going to the vet in a couple of weeks for their first visit! Yay!
