My bangle gave birth 8 1/2 weeks ago. It wasn't an intentional pregnancy; I don't know what she bred with. Two of her kittens look more bangle the other two but they are all adorable. Here are some pics when they where 4 weeks old:

I just spayed the mom last Friday because we could not keep her in the house and I didn't want another surprise. My question is can she still lactate after being spayed? We kept her from her kittens for the first 3 days but let her back yesterday and they seem to be nursing even though they are eating solids

I don't know the answer to that but I love the names of your kittens! That movie is SO funny. Do you have any more pictures of the kittens?

And here I thought I was the only one to watch that stupid movie! LOL! It was funny, but brain draining.

Sandyq,
I don't know the answer to your question, but, my guess would be that it's okay. I've volunteered at a veterinary hospital before, and I saw they do a C-Section, with a spay, and then send them home to nurse, but I don't know if that's just because it's necessary. I would suggest asking the vet that spayed her. Good luck!

Yes they do lactate after a spay. Her kittens will help her in this department. Cute babies!
