Sad tale at the vets today

While waiting to be seen I started up a conversation with an older lady next to me. She was waiting to find out the fate of a kitten she had found in a garbage dumpster. Not only content to throw the kitten away like a leftover bananna peel, the asshole who dumped her also poured elmer's glue down the kitten's mouth and taped it shut

I keep thinking I must have heard it all by now, and then something happens to prove me wrong. I do hope that the universe eventually takes revenge on those afflicted with such sick minds and black hearts.

Not a single day goes by anymore where I do not feel physically sickened by some cruel and senseless assault made against animals.

It is getting to the point where I just don't even want to open my Internet connection or even leave the house anymore.

There is a candle, white and gardenia-scented, burning brightly on my mantle today in the hopes that it's light will guide the forgotten and the thrown-away on their way to the Bridge and to provide warmth and strength to those recovering from injury or illness - may it help to also serve as a beacon for those who, along with me, keep these little souls close to our hearts and in our thoughts today.

I don't know, I gave the woman my phone number and asked her to call me. I also said if the kitten pulls through I would be happy to look after it. But Elmer's Glue is on my toxic list for cats, so I suspect that the kitten will not make it-

Oh how sad... I really don't understand how people can do that though! Granted if the kitten were left in a shelter, it could have been put to sleep, sure... but that's more humane than pouring glue down it's mouth. Poor kitten, I hope it survives but if not, I hope it passes peacefully.

That poor, poor baby!
Things like this really make me believe there should be an eye for eye justice system!

evil, pure pure evil.

if your going to be so callous as to throw out a kitten why not leave it somewhere it will be found such as the toilets at mcdonalds or on a doorstep (not that i would)

or at the least fake being a concerned neighbour who found it in the trash if your ashamed to hand it in to the authoritites. in this case it isnt even laziness as they went to the trouble to harm this poor little baby.

I don't know if I feel more sorrow for this precious baby or rage towards the creature that did this.

I tell you something!. I would never want anyone to go through a long, painful death, but when it comes to people like this i wish them the worst death possible

It's things like this that make me question if there is a God. If so, how could He allow these things to happen? It makes me feel ill to just read it.

I've seen a lot at the shelter, and have been able to barely stomach most of it, but this one brought tears my eyes. I hope that karma catches up to this person really soon.

Let us know of any updates if you have it Hissy. I hope the kitty pulls through, and that horrible person should go to ****!!! I hate people like this!

I'm not sure whether Im sad or angry.. but it's times like this that i would pour epoxy resin in their mouth and tape it shut. Why couldn't this person just adopt it out, give it to the shelter, something!
