A most gratifying response! I rather thought the chocoholics wouldn't be able to resist
Fair's fair: my passion is dark chocolate. I love the Lindt Excellence 85% cocoa bar -- awesome for a hit, without going overboard -- the 70% is also excellent.
I like any chocolate, as long as it's very good chocolate -- not the stuff in the rack by the supermarket checkout. And, to my mind, the very best purveyor of chocolate is a local outfit called Chocolate Arts. Their truffles are to die for; they are full of really unusual ideas, and there is not a single thing they do that isn't wonderful. And they are gorgeous to look at, too!!
Keep those responses coming, folks -- I love to see what gets your "chocolate genes" jumping!

I don't usually like it just by itself. Usually like it covering something, i.e. Reese's or chocolate/coconut , chocolate mint. I don't have any in the house right now

Dark, dark, dark!!!! Godiva's Belgian Dark Chocolate ice cream is to die for!
Hershey's Miniatures now come in bags of individual flavors and I have been buying up the dark chocolate ones. I keep them stashed in my desk drawer at work.
Once again, it is time for Cadbury's Chocolate Creme Eggs and I have a Walgreen's coupon. Those get stashed in the freezer, as they're only available around Easter. Bill always buys me at least TWO chocolate bunnies - none of those rip-off hollow ones, either!
Dove Dark is wonderful, too.

I didnt do the poll because I love both dark & milk chocolates. I hate white, however.. it isnt really chocolate anyway.

Cadburys Creme Eggs are available here all year round and aren't they just delicious!

Just got back from the store and the chocolate shortage has been remedied! A couple of bars of milk chocolate, and fudge stripe shortbread cookies.

I prefer dark chocolate but my absolute favorite candy bar is made of milk chocolate...Toblerone!!! I love fudge brownies too.

Did you know that Toblerone is also available in dark (and white)? You don't see it just everywhere -- but it truly is awesome!
Not only did Walgreen's have the Cadbury Chocolate Creme Eggs on coupon, Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Easter Eggs were on sale. I bought the milk chocolate ones, too, as well as big malted milk Easter eggs.
After dinner, I'm going to try Haagen-Daz new flavor ice cream: TRIPLE Chocolate. If I'm coherent, afterward, I'll let you know how it is.
