Yesterday, in my writer's workshop we read an exerpt from the French novel, "La Disparition",
"A Void" in English. It was a wonderful piece, but what really curled my socks was the fact that the whole novel, about 200 pages, was written without using the letter "E". Imagine that! I can't write this post without using the letter "E" never mind a whole novel. Since then I have found out that others have done the same, not many though. Isn't that just a wonder?
Oh, excuse me, the author of the novel, written in 1969 is Georges Perec.
