How about sounds? What is it you Loooove the sound of?

I LOVE the sound of:

very heavy summer rain and thunder (I love the feeling too)
running water, like a stream bubbling over pebbles
tenor and bass singing together
the accoustics in a church
waking up to little birds singing on a spring morning
wind in the trees
the haunting refrain of a lone flute

The "doink doink" noise at the start of any episode of Law and Order (...or L&O SVU... or CI)
And finally.... the "sound" of a comfortable silence with the one you love

Add to that the sound of a working toilet, computer, and van!

I love the sound of the tanks fireing at the local range. I can hear the vibrations here in the house.

Its comforting in an odd way.

The beach!!! Oh goodness the beach is such a big one for me. In fact I love everything about the beach, the sounds, the smell, the feel, the stickiness, oh my......I'm feeling beach deprived now!!

Hopefully it will be warm enough over Spring Break in a couple of weeks.

I'm also a big fan of birds chirping. Especially in the spring (my fave season).

Also a fan of rain as I'm falling asleep. The harder the better (though not with thunder to match, when thunder is too loud I practically jump right out of bed)!

The natural sounds of my parents house.

It makes me feel so cozy.

Any kind of running water.

Oh no poor Fran!!!!!! Well you can come visit me anytime and we'll stay at my parents house! That's about 4 miles from the beach. You just have to find a way over here.

My parents are going to our beach house next week!!!! im so jealous!
they are going to eat all of the yummy things in sicily... and im going ot be stuck here

its not even 1 km walk down to the beach! and its so pretty in the morning to wake up on a sunny day smelling the beach!

I hope i get to stay at the beach house for one last time before they sell it!

Sounds...

My kid laughing so hard she cannot catch her breath.

Snickers singing to himself at night downstairs, before he finishes up and comes up to lay on my legs to keep me warm.

Thunderstorms... the sounds all around just before the storms roll in.

Piano being played, no matter what song it is! I walked in on my boss's son playing "My Heart Will Go On" on their piano last week, it was beautiful.

In the Spring & Summer when the sun is coming up... the sound of birds singing in the trees.

Vin Diesel's voice. Oh if only he lived near Cincinnati, was single, and interested in short, scrawny redheads.

Two things coming from the loudspeakers at the range at Camp Perry:
1. The scratching and muted version of the National Anthem that they play every morning.
2. "This is the first stage of Match 104, the President's Match, 10 rounds fired in 10 minutes from the standing position." It means the National Matches are really starting.
