On the Ben and Jerry's site, they encourage visitors to send in ideas for an ice crean flavors. You win a prize if they decide to make and market it...I forget what the prize is. What's your dream flavor? Oh and you have to give your concoction a name!

Mom of Franz, that is my favourite flavour at my local ice cream shop! (And what about the swirls of merangue?!)

Hrm.... This may sound odd, but I'd love to have Butternut squash with cinnamon and brown sugar. (The ice cream shop also makes pumpkin ice cream every year, that's where I got the idea.) It would be sweet, but I could also eat it for dinner. (And before I get any looks, I ate ice cream for dinner every night for an entire summer, and never gained a pound.
)

Please don't ask me to name it, though. Somehow, any ice cream name with "Squash" jn it would make people run away, I think.

Please send me a gallon of each..I think the squash ice cream sounds delish..I remember when people thought carrot cake and zuccinni bread sounded odd.

Mom of Franz, I love that name!

As for me... could they make a chocolate sundae into an ice cream? Maybe vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and nuts and a hint of cherry with whipped cream flavoring? I have no idea what the name would be... maybe like Not Monday but Sundae? Lol, I dunno!

Mom of Franz, the franchise is called Bruster's. Check out www.brustersicecream.com and see if there's anything near you. I know for a fact that you can request a gallon of whatever flavor they make, and they'll mix a batch up special just for you. (I requested a gallon of Lemon Merangue Pie for my B-day last year, because they rarely ever make it.)

This may exist, but I haven't seen it.

"Fourth of July"

It would taste very apple-ey, maybe with some apple puree in it, but still be pretty smooth in consistency -with lots of cinnamon.

We have an ice cream already like that where I'm from. It's called Chocolate Obsession, and it is just sumptous. It is rich chocolate ice cream, with pieces of real chocolate in it, with raspberry topping swirled through it, and marshmallow bits, too. OMG...amazing I want some now just thinking about it!!

Under the cats, mostly.
ooooo I found an abdsolutely fantastic ice-cream that's already manufactured (outside the uk) and it's imported by only one restaurant in this area. It's a belgian company and they send samples over every now and then... the one I had as a dessert once was "red orange and grapefruit" oooooohmy
I'm sure there was only way I could describe it at the time... it was THAT delicious. Orgasm in a bowl. Complete with dark chocolate, a swirl of very light cream.... ohhh it was to DIE for!!

Nestle makes a "birthday cake" ice cream...it tastes like that white birthday cake you used to get a birthday parties, and there are little pieces of cake and swirls of blue that looks like icing (but isn't exactly....so GOOD though). Delicious!

A vanilla ice cream with bits of chocolate and nuts and peppermint, and I would call it...umm...delicious!

Another fav is called Bear Claw. Chocolate covered cashews in a chocolate ice cream with marshmallow swirl.

That tears it. Into the the mad money and a trip to the store
