mouth sores

Etta has developed feline acne, gets quite sore, also sores in mouth. Does anyone know of a homiopathic approach for food. Does it work? Vet says she's having an allergy problem & something about the size of protiens in regular food. There was only one special food availabe from Science Diet & she wouldn't eat it. I don't want to keep giving her prednisone. Help! Etta's mom

I havn't heard of anything you can give to them to help an allergy of that sort. Depending on what he has diagnosed her with, there are several companies who put these special foods out, maybe your vet only uses Hills.
