Yes. You haven't ever called in sick, it's your time. Hopefully they will recognize that you never do call in, and therefore must be doing it for a good reason. Unless of course you feel better in the morning, in which case just go to work.
But don't feel badly about it, it happens to everyone ever y once in a while.

I don't stay home from work unless I am running a major fever, or I am actively vomiting or something. I suppose it comes from being a teacher, because it was more stressful to have a sub in the class than to just go in and get through the day.

I would call in sick, there's no place for sick people working in the food industry! I'm currently home from college because I have the flu. Hope you feel better soon Rhonda!

I would definatley call in sick if I were you. You haven't called in sick in a year so there shouldn't be a problem. I know you're worried about who will close the bakery but that really shouldn't be your concern. Your health should be the most important thing.

Call in sick. Any staffing problems are not your fault and you shouldn't feel guilty about it. It's much better you stay at home for a day and fight off what you have than going in for a few days at less than 100%. I hope you feel better soon!

I would call in sick because its not fair that you have to have all the work load.
im sure that there are loads of other people who would truly love to replace you for some money

But I had taken a sick day a month or so ago when I had the stomach flu a month or so ago (i came in but asked to leave like 30min after I got there).. I refuse to puke at work.
