does kitty have worms?

Hi all. I'm wondering if my 7 month old kitty has worms. I found just one tiny off white squishy worm-like thing the size of a rice on the seat where my cat had been sitting. I had found the same thing a couple of weeks ago, but thought nothing of it at the time. I plan to make him a vet appointment in the morning, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what this is. I checked his butt, but there's nothing there or any other signs of the worms.

Yep, he has worms. Tape worms to be more precise. They are pretty common. Your cat probably got them from his mom or possibly from fleas if he is exposed to them.
I'd get him de-flead and de-wormed.
