picking out food

Ok is this wierd.... my kitten is picking out and eating ONLY the adult cat food and not the kiten food. Is this wierd??? I'm hoping he's going to eat the food when he gets hungry enough.

It's not all that strange how old is your kitten? I think Susan was having the same problem with Sophie, and that at 9 mos, she just started feeding the maintenance formula, and honestly, that's what I did, as well with Ghibli

I'd just go ahead at that age and switch to the adult formula of the kitten food brand you were feeding.

This is what my vet said to me when my Zoey decided senior tasted better than kitten at about the same age

Your right Denise!, little Miss Sophie stopped eating her kitten kibbles at about 9/10 months and preferred Rosies adult kibbles.

To finish off the bag i mixed the kitten kibbles in with some adult ones but they took ages for her to eat them
