Dani scratching her ears again....

Okay guys.... another question....sigh

Danielle recovered from her ulcerated/staph infected ears.

She is starting to scratch again. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Sigh... I realize this might not be the infection coming back, but maybe mites (although she is an indoor cat, don't know where THAT could come from), or just dirty ears.

My question is how much scratching is enough to warrant a Vet visit?

Is it normal for a cat to scratch their ears sometimes, or when it becomes more than once a day, is that not normal?

If she seems to scratch them on a regular basis, I would take her to the vet and have them do an ear cytology to see what may be going on in there. It could be anything from yeast to a bacteria. I would guess she was checked for mites when she first went in.

Yes, I already made an appointment for the Vet for tomorrow.

Just hang in there. Like I said before, I battled with 2 of mine for a whole year, but now they are really healthy and happy. Of course Sammy still runs when he sees a syringe or something
