she never was a talker until i lived with my last roomate about 2 years ago. she had a cat who was a talker and i think Kali kind of "learned" how to talk. after that we couldn't shut her up!! lately though, since we have the new kitten, she has been pretty mute. kind of reverting back to her pre-talking days...when she would do the "silent meow" or let out a breathy kind of quiet gurgly meow.Originally Posted by ugaimes

the new kitty coo's and purrs alot. and she only meows if you tell her NO! then she sounds like a toddler saying "BUT WHYYYY MOMMY!!??"
