I am hoping that there is someone out there who can help me out. My 3 yr old is keeping me up at night and i don't know what to do. When I first got her she would sit away from the bed and meow till I woke up. At times I would have to sleep with my head under a pillow because she would pull my hair. I would have just locked her out of my room but we lived in a loft apartmant that didn't have a door. Now that I have moved i tried locking her out. Now she constantly paws at the door making this beating or thumping noise. I actually went and bought a gate to put in front of the door thinking that it may stop her or atleast stop the noise. I thought wrong! The noise got worse. I now have opened my door back up. Now she is either rubbing on another door, messing with the binds, or meowing from across the room. Once I wake up to tell her to stop she will come and get in bed with me. Once I fall asleep and stop petting her she starts up with something else to wake me up. It is like a huge cycle everynight. As long as my eyes are open she doesn't do this. At one point I resorted to sleeping on the couch so that she wouldn't keep my husband up. If I am on the couch she does'nt bother me or anything else. I welcome any suggestions. My husband has had enough and I am not getting rid of her.
